Dr. Chitra Tiruveedula

Dr. Chitra Tiruveedula has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years. After completing training in advanced general dentistry at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Chitra had a successful practice in Solon, Ohio. Dr. Chitra and her family relocated to Orange County, CA, where she has been practicing since 2015 and would like to welcome you to Advanced Dental in Aliso Viejo, CA.

Dr. Chitra believes in a friendly, personalized approach to dental care and can customize treatment to fit your needs. She enjoys working with children, adults and geriatric patients, which makes her ideal for providing complete family dental care. She believes that a beautiful smile is an invaluable asset that builds a lifetime of confidence and contributes to excellent overall health. Dr. Chitra is very passionate about patients’ dental care and long-term well being.

Dr. Chitra is a member of the American Dental Association and California Dental Association. She is committed to ongoing continuing education and professional development, and strives to provide the best in modern dental care.

When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Chitra enjoys cooking different international cuisines. Dr. Chitra’s husband is a biotech entrepreneur, and together they have two daughters, ages 11 and 14. Their family is completed by two adorable English Golden Retrievers, Romeo and Rio.

Dr. Joseph C. Yang

DR. JOSEPH C. YANG HAS BEEN PRACTICING DENTISTRY FOR OVER 30 YEARS.

Dr. Joseph Yang grew up in a suburb of Chicago, IL. He earned his B.S. at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Subsequently, he received his D.D.S. from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Upon graduating, he began his 30-year career as a U.S. Naval Dental Officer. During his Navy career, Dr. Yang was chosen for a full-time out-service residency in Periodontology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Afterward, he was selected to serve as staff/program director at Bethesda Naval Medical Center for their Periodontology residency program. During his long Navy career, he received numerous personal commendations and awards. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology as well as a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Yang is frequently invited to lecture and train other dental professionals worldwide in the latest implant and periodontal procedures. His hobbies are golfing, skiing, and keeping up with his favorite sports teams.

Dr. Reed Dickinson

BOARD-CERTIFIED ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON

Dr. Reed Dickinson is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care with a focus on patient comfort and long-term oral health. He specializes in a wide range of oral surgical procedures, including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, and advanced regenerative techniques such as platelet-rich fibrin therapy. His goal is to combine precision, innovation, and compassion to deliver the highest standard of care.

A native of Massachusetts, Dr. Dickinson discovered his love for Southern California while attending Pomona College in Claremont, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine, followed by his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and his Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree at the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Dickinson is an active member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Orange County Dental Association. He is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and remains committed to continuing education and advancing his surgical expertise.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Dickinson enjoys surfing, skiing, fishing, and traveling with his wife—an Orange County native—and their four children.

Dr. Amith Shetty

Dr. Amith Shetty is a highly skilled dentist with extensive experience in providing comprehensive family dental care. With a focus on clinical excellence and advanced technology, Dr. Shetty is able to keep most procedures in-house, offering his patients greater convenience, efficiency, and peace of mind.

In addition to general and family dentistry, Dr. Shetty has advanced training in emergency same-day treatments and offers a full spectrum of dental implant solutions. His expertise includes traditional implants, non-metallic implants, and mini implants—ranging from single tooth replacement to full mouth restorations with fixed or removable solutions. By tailoring each treatment plan to the unique needs of his patients, Dr. Shetty helps restore healthy, confident smiles that last.

Known for his warm and reassuring chairside manner, Dr. Shetty takes the time to ensure that patients feel comfortable, cared for, and fully informed throughout their treatment. His goal is to create a positive dental experience that puts patients at ease while delivering excellent results.
